Lexicon
My contributions to the English language. Disclaimer: Mostly for laughs!
- codo
- (code-oh) Like a typo but made in programming code. E.g., 'a = nuul;'. May or may not result in a bug.
- longeif
- (lon-jiff, lon-jeef) Likely to live a long time due to good health, family history etc. The retro-fitted stem of longevity created through analogy with brief → brevity.
- nother
- (nuh-thuh) Other. "Skiing is hard but snowboarding is a whole nother story." Currently in popular use, especially in speech.
- computomorphism
- (kom-pyuu-toh-more-fizm) The projection of computer properties onto something other than a computer. I think my brain needs a bigger hard drive.
- upin
- (up-in) Equivalent of "up in". "She was all upin my face". In such popular use it deserves to be one word, like "upon", "into" etc.
- fise
- Split apart. Retrofitted stem of fission.
